Quote from: MattWilkie on April 27, 2012, 05:07:09 AMDidn't make me angry at all, you justified the fact that Paul came from a bad background as if it gives him a right to do what he does to other people. I just gave other examples to show why that isn't acceptable. Strange how some find its ok for Paul to do it and not other alternatives of the same argument.
Although i pledged to be silent,i feelobl;iged to clarify something.

There isn't any word of defense in my post, here again the quoted and criticised text (copied and pasted):
------------------
Third, and that should be enough response. The "abuses" of Mr. Petra. I do not know him, some People in this thread do though, but apparently he is an alcoholic with a lower social background.
I think it is called Trailor Park community? Now to be honest, what does one expect from those kind ? Not that i want to classify them all, but indications are, that many of those are having issues with physical abuse. Which explains the same story about Mr. Petrea and his first wife.
Now this may appear scandalous to the average Person/Reader, but i can assure you from  multiple own witnesssing in the US, that this is pretty common there. And it often don't stop with abuse, murder and manslaugher is the continuation of this violence.
And yes, it is definitely despicable and worth fling a case, but his has to be done by the Victims. Now it seems, some here know the Victim and they are also at guilt by NOT acting upon it. Just talking about it does not change a thing.
And until then, meaning actual cases filed and decided, those cases are non-existent.
Bottom line agin- the prevailing poverty and social circumstances in the poor class of the Philippines more or less ignores this kind of behavior. This probably explain why there are so many undesirable elements among the foreign community. But i repeat, if one doesn't do anything, he is just as guilty as the offender.
Talking or writing about it is just chatter...
--------------
I fail to see any defense in this words, as amatter of fact, if a lawyer would use this as defensive argument  in court, he would certainly be disbarred for harming his client.

Please note that "explaining circumstances" are different from defending.

With another view one could even construct this into a "warning" to socialize with this kind of People.

In further fact, Mr. Petrea could even file a libel case against this paragraph of my post... if he knew who i was, that is.

File a case for what?  Can anyone even understand what you said?  I have no idea what you are saying.

Yeah, I understood him with no problems.

He was saying that his remarks are not painting Paul in a positive light.  He is commenting on people claiming he is a Paul supporter and coming to defend him.  Same as a few of us said.

Just because we don't believe everything you have written doesn't mean we are defending him.

IMO, it makes your arguments look weak when you try to paint us a defenders/supporters.  Since we know we are not defending Paul, what other stuff are you twisting to fit your agenda sort of thing.

This thread is getting to be like one of those afternoon TV serials "Days of Paul's Life" comes to mind.  :))
Personally I don't give a stuff about what happened with Paul in 2006, if he is legal or not...etc etc. And as for the money lending racket, well I read about it at the time and he emailed the details (at my request) and I decided not to participate. Point is that it was clear to me from all I read that he was offering the opportunity on behalf of others Besides 'buyer beware'! and what happened after that, well who knows, I don't!
My gripe with Paul is based solely on his attitude towards women as witnessed by his own postings on his forum. Some are nothing short of sic. Bloody disgusting and he also seemed to be reluctant to clean away those other posters who seemed to share his arrogant, chauvinistic and demeaning attitude towards woman.
Personally I believe that the guy is a raging alcoholic as postings depicting him over the years strongly indicate and if I'm correct things will change for him... they WILL get worse.
They never get better, I have never seen an alcoholic drink his was way to happiness! I know cos I've been there!
Sadly he is so typical, the Jeckle and Hyde personality, the inability to maintain relationships, the amazing ability to build then destroy, the life obsessed around alcohol, the friends propping him up, the paranoia, etc etc.
Specially sad in Paul's case because I believe he is a different bloke somewhere in there and has some brilliant abilities, but they're all taking a back seat to booze!
If you read this forum Paul, get help. You can start over, I did thirty odd years ago, after I had stuffed everything up just like you have but today it is so different. Just ask!

I conveyed the same message to him when he initiated an email conversation with me recently. He will do as he always has done, tuck tail and run. I was banned from his little kingdom of a forum,  for a post I made in someone else's forum.  He did respond..... as I paste below: note: this forum inserted flip for the word more appropriate to his limited vocabulary

This was the post that annoyed so many people including myself.  Clearly he wants everyone to beleive she is 18 but as we can see from the date he posted it she is only 16.  and of course his boast at the end that he nailed a virgin with the intention of dumping her soon and moving on to his next conquest.

He continually makes racist statements about Koreans and their lack of respect towards the people of the Philippines.  I wonder how many Koreans treat the locals as bad as him

After a woman loses her virginity, how long should it be before she begins visiting a Gynecologist?

Thanks,

Paul

Um, this thread was about my g/f's first GYN visit, as she was virgin when we first met.

Since this question has been answered, and since this topic has gone on another tangent, I will close it now.

His business dealing affected only adults, people should have known better to invest in stuff like that in the PI.

As Paul often said, he would pay for the bullets that the vigilantes use against criminals there, he should be careful what he asks for

That's a classic Dzig.
The number one symptom of alcoholism... DENIAL
But like my sponsor told me once when I had asked why he didn't step in and try to help me earlier... he said: "There is nothing like more booze to knock the BS out of an alky and you had a fair bit to knock out" It was tough stuff at the time but it worked, I owe my life to that bloke.

Pretty much everything on this thread has run its course. I know many are tired of reading it especially with a lot of going over old stuff as new people try to argue every possible reason that Paul is just a good guy at heart and misunderstood. His blacklisting in the Philippines is enough reason for him not to be here and if its not enough for some please drop by and see President NoyNoy.

Why this is in the plagued outcasts list is :-

Paul isn't welcome here as a FORUM for many reasons that you can read through from the first post. If there are those that still believe he is innocent then quite simply its your choice and I like many others cannot be bothered to go into every detail of Paul's life. What is important though :-

1. He is blacklisted in the Philippines.
2. He did assault JJ back in 2006.
3. He has admitted that he and Bill were the only people who had access to the funds from the lending business in a private email.
4. He did assault Americano's wife and that case has been filed.
5. There are several people that have witnessed his attitude towards women as well as Filipinos in general.
6. At least 2 people have stated they have seen bruising around Vivian's neck.
7. Paul assaulted a girl in Lonestar in Cebu (NOT JJ).
8. I have a lot more information here but quite simply it doesn't need any further discussion as Paul is blacklisted from the Philippines and shouldn't have been here never mind left to do the things he did.

For that reason this topic is now locked and Paul is cast off into the gutter where he belongs. There are still ongoing actions taking place but the forum is not the place for those discussions and advise contacting Americano directly.
