Or a lack of interest in Paul.. the assaults that are allegedly filed with PNP I doubt PNP will take any action unless Paul resurfaces. The lending venture unless those owed money take action legally or visit Julie to find out what is still in the pot as well as communicate with each other to find out the true figure of how much is missing nothing will happen there either.

Only thing that is for sure is Paul's reputation has been damaged. But then again a lot of the stuff people have been reading over the 21 pages isn't new news, but it is probably one of the few times its public knowledge that has stayed on a forum. As often its deleted as it appeared previously including the users on Paul's forum. At the same time would say the exodus of people that moved is a sign of how true most of the information is. But I am sure there are way more skeletons in the closet but this isn't a witch hunt.

alibi,

I believe your summation is correct except for one point. The assault is not filed with PNP. It was filed in the Cebu Provincial court as you can read on the paulpetrea blog. Its a criminal court case. The PNP will only be involved if a Warrant for Arrest is issued.

The JJ case still stands as I met an arresting officer March of last year. Basically what happened was the PNP handed Paul to NBI for deportation. He was never deported but instead "left of his own free will" which in reality meant David Whittle, Big Jim and others had a whip round for the outstanding fees which I believe was 2 years of out of date visa fees plus fines. An agreement was made that he would "not" return to the Philippines for a year, as well as paying his own exit ticket.

None of this was agreed with the PNP and as such the case is still open as he was never deported. Will they arrest him? doubt it as they are unlikely to go looking for him over an old case at the same time if Paul's unlucky enough to be picked up on something else and they flag it up in Cebu he may not get off so lightly. Was I helping the PNP look for Paul? Answer is no the conversation came up after I was involved with 2 other investigations of a much more serious nature where the PNP requested some assistance. Namely Thomas Rhuland case and Ellah Joy.

Ok I understand what you are talking about now. I thought you meant the most recent case. Its good to know there are members here who are on the side of good. Your post would have lasted about 2 seconds on LinC before it was deleted by Paul or one of his supporters. They don't want anyone to know the truth.

I wasn't interested in Paul Petrea until earlier this evening when someone sent me the file below.

[ Specified attachment is not available ]

Now what Alibi was saying regarding the being let go seems to ring true as it matches a genuine news article. I know Abellion resides in immigration Mandaue as the main Prosecutor and everything in the article seems real. Including the fact his then wife leaving him because she couldn't live as a battered wife any longer.

Don't know about you but its about time this guy was jailed for the health of women never mind the investments.

If the Jan Bebbie Pernia vs Woody Paul Petrea Sr. case is still open, I will get a copy and give it to my lawyer to see what can be done.

Its no doubt still live if it wasn't closed. I would have a word with Attorney Abellion, only issue there is they let him leave on his own accord last time would they do it again? Paul shouldn't be here, deported and behind bars is where he belongs. I wouldn't send anyone to a Filipino jail though.

Easily the most interesting I have read in the Philippines.

But let's get a grip on reality.   Some people invested 10000 pesos, which delivered 300 pesos a month in return.  Are people really getting excited over such small amounts?

Have you heard anyone mention they invested P10,000 on here? Even so maybe you should look at how a lot of these ventures roll capital as the P300 is not returned but generally reinvested. Also the percentages changed as I remember Paul saying 5% return on investment. I didn't invest in it but if I had I would be thinking annually not monthly or weekly. Which with P10,000 would be :-

Month 1 - 10,500
Month 2 - 11,025
Month 3 - 11,576
Month 4 - 12,155
Month 5 - 12,762
Month 6 - 13,400
Month 7 - 14,071
Month 8 - 14,774
Month 9 - 15,513
Month10- 16,288
Month11- 17,103
Month12- 17,958

Return of 55.6% Annually but obviously year 2 would increase on the same roll. I know several people in the Philippines who are dealing in millions of pesos a month that started with literally thousands.

So as regards it being a small amount its not that which is relevant as a system that works would actually have an extremely high yield of return. Before anyone goes on the moral high ground as well also be aware than your "Ethical banks" are involved in these same ventures but go via a different method by "investments" indirectly to companies that deal in short term lending.

To challenge this method of lending you should get in touch with the LHulliers and their Billion peso industry.

Nope but if you have a look at the blog, you will see most people invested 10k only.  A very few people invested more (up to 400k) i seem too remember, but most guys were just tiddlers.

And anyways all this peanuts.  I have it from a good source that if a girl wants to go and work in Hong Kong bars and borrows 10K for the air fare, she has to pay back 30k after 2 weeks. You can do the maths.

Now don't misunderstand, Im not defending the culprit in any way.

There are people missing from the list completely and are believed to have invested more (I'm not getting involved in who is owed what that is between them). As regards more interest for X Y Z its irrelevant. Considering most people are struggling to get 1% interest in the West while the banks rob everyone blind its completely irrelevant about a worker going to HK. But also remember the fact they are going abroad makes them a greater risk for "not paying".  But this is completely off topic anyway as its not a how to invest your money or not thread but what Paul and Bill were doing as well as Paul's pending cases.

Happiness why is it your comments are never relevant to the discussion? Oh some lost only P10,000 according to a blog, which blog? You on about the evil Evan short on medication again?

Take a good look at it as its out of date for a start and not by a small amount. Also as others have said since it appears you haven't bothered to read all the threads that there are other people that haven't been listed. Only thoughts on this for me is that Paul has stolen they're money outright and pocketed it. Judging by the woman beating antics, legacy and the demise of the lending venture with his quickly followed sharp exit. Everything seems to point to being very typical of Paul.

Lets keep things on topic here as hey P10,000 isn't a lot for me either yet I bet you came over from Living In Cebu just to have a bit of a stir and over there someone was complaining his garden hose got stolen, joke with that being its probably his wife who gave it to a friend or family! :D

Funny thing is petty theft happens every where in the world.  Not just here.  Leave things out for crimes of opportunity anywhere in the world it will happen sooner or later.
